Tune your instrument

Before the scale test, use the chromatic tuner to check your instrument. Tune as many strings or notes as you need, then mark tuning complete.

Start the tuner and play a steady note.
Green means the detected note is within Β±5 cents. The tuner is chromatic, so it works independently of the scale you selected.

Once tuning is complete, choose Start Listening or Start With Metronome. The metronome is only a tempo guide and never counts as a note. The score stays at 0 until Scale Pro hears the starting note of the selected scale from your instrument. Start whenever you are ready; then the actual instrument notes are scored in order.
